Jeremy Helfand
Jeremy Helfand is Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer of United Online. He is responsible for the United Online Media Group, which sells advertising and partnerships via NetZero, Juno, Bluelight, Classmates, PhotoSite, Freeservers and Names Database. His oversight includes direct and agency sales, wholesale sales, advertising operations and inventory management and planning functions. Previously, he served as senior vice president and general manager of Advertising.com, a division of American Online, Inc. that provides interactive-marketing services.
During his tenure at Advertising.com, Helfand served on the executive committee charged with the strategic vision that eventually led to the company’s initial public offering and $497-million acquisition by AOL/Time Warner. In five years at Advertising.com, Helfand implemented revenue strategies, incentive and training programs that contributed to more than a six-fold increase in revenue, along with the doubling in the size of the company’s sales force. Prior to Advertising.com, Helfand was a manager at Arthur Anderson, LLP where he oversaw a suite of high-profile clients including Blue Cross Blue Shield and London Fog. A certified public accountant, Helfand received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola College and a M.B.A pending from John Hopkins University.
